This department strives for an all round
progress of Chemical industry and achieve this objective, it operates through
three main streams namely, Academic, Extension and Research.
The B. Tech.(Chemical Engineering) course was started in 2009. However, before
this the department was running B.Tech.(Sugar Technology) successfully.
To meet the challenges with the technological advancement and to bridge the
gap between industry and Institute, the institute is now reaching out to the
frontiers of technological advancement to face the globalization and
modernization in competing with international standards. Students passing out
from this course are getting 100% placement and training through placement
cell in Chemical and allied industries R&D and management field.
