PRODUCTION ENGINEERING
STUDENTS’ ASSOCIATION OF MAHARASHTRA (Sports, Personality Development, & Extra Curricular
Activities) –
Organizing PESAM Cricket Cup annually.
This is a very popular event of the Institute. –
“BULL FIGHTING” programme of Santosh Nair
organized by PESAM –
Extra and co-curricular activities like
organizing lectures by industry experts, aptitude tests and mock interviews,
teachers’ day programme, engineers’ day programme, kojagiri, etc are regular
events carried out by PESAM. •
PARTICIPATION AT INSTITUTE, UNIVERSITY & NATIONAL LEVEL
EVENTS –
Active participation in Annual Social
Gathering, PRAGYAA & University Level sports. –
CAD-STORM contest
of PRAGYAA is organized by second & third year students. –
Production Engineering Students have
contributed to the Institute’s Annual Social Gathering in a big way. General
Secretary of Students’ Council has been from this department for
six years. – Active participation in events like TECHFEST. •
SAEINDIA BAJA
COMPETITION –
Our student teams have qualified for
participation in SAEINDIA BAJA competition for the last three successive
competitions i. e. 2007, 2009 & 2010. –
All-Terrain-Vehicle (ATV) is completely
designed and fabricated on campus by the interdisciplinary teams.
– It is important to note that our Institute does not offer Mechanical or Automobile Engineering courses as on today still the team members have been successful in designing and fabricating the ATV on campus. •
SAEINDIA
SUPRA COMPETITION –
Our student team has qualified for
participation in SAEINDIA SUPRA competition in the FIRST ever competition
organized in July 2011. –
A Racing Car is completely designed and
fabricated on campus by the interdisciplinary teams. –
The team secured 32nd position
in the competition amongst 45 teams.
