• SAEINDIA BAJA COMPETITION

– A 14 member student interdisciplinary team participated in BAJA competition in December 2007. 8 students were from Production Engineering. Team Leader (Mr. Santosh Suryawanshi) from Production Engineering.

– An All-Terrain-Vehicle (ATV) was completely designed and fabricated on campus by the team. The team won 2^nd Prize in MAX SPEED event.

– It is important to note that our Institute does not offer Mechanical or Automobile Engineering courses as on today still the team members have been successful in designing and fabricating the ATV on campus.

• SAEINDIA SUPRA COMPETITION

– Our student team has qualified for participation in SAEINDIA SUPRA competition in the FIRST ever competition organized in July 2011.

– A Racing Car is completely designed and fabricated on campus by the interdisciplinary teams.

• The team secured 32^nd position in the competition amongst 45 teams.

• Two of our students have brought laurels to the department by being all India toppers in GATE.

Mr. Kulkarni Amod and Mr. Abhijeet Paratkar won first prize in a National level contest for their project on Universal Slotting Attachment.
