COURSE OBJECTIVES
1)To equip the trainee with capabilities required for modelling water resource-related issues/problems.
2)To impart training to the trainee to prepare them for conducting high-value research on water resources and to pursue lifelong learning.
Course Content: This course covers the following
topics:
1)Applied and Watershed Hydrology
2)Water Quality, Treatment Options
3)Irrigation Systems, Distribution and Operation of Water Systems (Urban and Rural)
4)Remote Sensing & GIS and its Applications in Hydrology, Climate Change
5)Application of Soft Computing Techniques in Water Management
ELIGIBILITY:
Preference will be given to participants having Civil Engineering, Environmental and equivalent background. The faculty members of the AICTE approved institutions, research scholars, PG Scholars, participants from Government, Industry. There is no registration fee for the participants.
Participants will be selected on a first-come first-serve basis. The number of participants is limited to50 only. Hence join only after receipt of intimation of selection by e-mail. The faculty members selected for the programme should get the authorization certificate. The certificate shall be issued to those participants who have attended the programme with a minimum of 80% attendance and scored a minimum of 60% mark on the test.
