Course Content:

• Risk assessment and retrofitting of structures
• Rehabilitation and strengthening of structures using novel techniques
• Condition assessment of existing structures
• Structural stability assessment of structures
• Stability of masonry structures
• Stability of plates and shells
• Reliability analysis of structures

ELIGIBILITY:

• Faculty of AICTE recognized Engineering Colleges & Polytechnics.
• To impart training to the faculty members to prepare them for conducting high value research on Structural Engineering and to pursue lifelong learning.

TRANSPORT, BOARDING &LODGING

Participants are entitled for bus/Sleeper class/3AC railway fare to and fro by the shortest route from participant’s Institute to SGGSIE&T, Vishnupuri, Nanded. Outstation participants will be provided free of cost boarding and lodging in the institute hostel (Sharing). Since accommodation is limited, family members of participants cannot be accommodated.

REGISTRATION

There is no registration fee for the course. All interested candidates are required to enclose a Demand Draft (Only DD acceptable) of Rs.1000/-in the name of “Director, SGGSIE&T, Vishnupuri, Nanded. The above Demand Draft will be refunded to the not selected candidates and also to the selected participant only if he or she attends the full course. In case the selected participant fails to attend the full course, the above amount will be forfeited and no reimbursement and certificate shall be given. The candidate should complete the enclosed registration form and send by speed post or courier to the coordinator along with the DD. Confirmation of eligible candidates will be on first come first serve basis up to a maximum of 20 candidates. The completed registration forms along with the Demand Draft should reach to the coordinator on or before 27th December 2019.
